FASHTRAV: The Honeymoon Year

Allow me to introduce the Honeymoon Year!

This post has been a long time coming and I have probably written about 100 drafts of this post. The honeymoon year is something really personal to me, but it would be a bit difficult explaining this concept, without a bit of a background. My whole life I have been a bit of a homebody and spent a lot of time indoors watching TV or studying. I spent most of my university days studying or saving money to fly to London. Then the last couple of years have been even more testing.

Harry and I have worked really hard for the last two years, 2016 in itself was so intense. Over the last couple years we have applied for 3 different visas, got engaged, bought a flat, bought a house, got married, and renovated two properties. I felt like we have made so many sacrifices to be 'grown up.'
Don't get me wrong, I love that we have so much of our life together now, but it came at a price. We were so busy saving and working that we sacrificed a lot of experiences.

However, now that we are married, Harry and I have decided to spend the next year or so taking in everything possible and living for the NOW! So I dedicate this year to all the people out there who were at home worrying about their future instead of attempting to yolo. I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, to try new experiences and to Honeymoon... allllll year longgggg.

So stayed tuned! We will have some exciting updates to come- starting with out first trip to Asia in April!!

  1. Waow, I think that was the post I really needed. I moved to the Netherlands to live with Mark 3 months after2 years fighting for the visa. Now that we're together, shits are coming from here and there, especially financial problems. Sound like the ghosts from his past relationship are appearing, I can't blame him for his paste but sometimes, I just feel like those 2 past years were simply the begining of our problems and I can't handle it anylonger. Every morning makes me feel like i involve myself in a huge bullshit-life, but I love him and not about to give up. Now your post just boost up my motivation and when all this shits end up, I'll certainly be up for fantastic projects cause I definately deserve it. Thanks you for the positive mood.

    Nice Weekend :-)

  2. I understand your concept! I had such year like two years ago and if you ask me I'd do everything the same again. What can I add about that? My life has totally changed over that year and surely afterwards as well. I became a better version of myself and I am generally more happy. I did realized you didn't have to sacrifice so much.

  11. The luxury Rolex Watches is an investment in the future;?A legacy that can be passed down from generation to generation.Perhaps the owner received their Luxury Breitling Watches?
through the passage of a family member.?In this case, the Rolex Submariner Watches is valued for sentimental - as well as monetary value. While a Original Omega Watches can be expensive, it is wise to remember that you buy more than just a 1:1 IWC.The unfortunate truth is that whilst it is possible to get discounts on Hermes handbags.
